THE BREEZY BLOG
Happy First Day of Spring! Longer days, flowers blooming and just this much closer to summer! It's time for us to start adjusting our skincare routines and makeup to withhold warmer temperatures etc. We can also enjoy some fun spring activities and adventures...yay! Spring SkincareLet's hydrate and brighten up dull looking skin caused by Winter's cooler weather. There are also longer days of sunshine so perfect time to get in the habit of protecting your skin with sunscreen!
Cream Cleanser - Ultra moisturizing cleanser, hydrates, soothes, and firms skin. Hydra Boost - Lightweight gel moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. Sunscreen - Works well with all skin types and is chemical-free. Spring MakeupThe last two seasons have been all about dark lips, intense highlight & contour and winged liner. By all means, continue wearing what YOU like but add some coral blush, soft pink slips or skip the top liner and just add a pop of color in the waterline with demi wispies! Chromagraphic Pencil - Primary Yellow, Rich Purple or Landscape Green for POP of color Mineralize Blush - Buildable coverage, healthy glow. Faves "New Romance" & "Warm Soul" Huggable Glass - Yes, it's called glass not gloss. Creamy, shiny & not sticky! Lashes - Wispies look natural and don't have the thick lash strip Spring FragranceSay goodbye to perfumes with musky scents and go for something more fresh and sweet! Here are some oldies but goodies and one I have my eyes on... Spring Activities & AdventuresThere are some exciting things happening in result of El Niño and places that are re-opening for the season. Get your pen and paper and start planning your trips! Super Bloom - Death Valley, CA The lower elevation bloom is almost gone but there is still time to visit. If you are in the local area, be sure to follow the Wildflower Update and map to catch an amazing sight! The Flower Fields - Carlsbad, CA Officially open for Spring but only until May so get going!! 50 acres of bloom with a view of the Pacific Ocean, how perfect is that?! Check out visitor information and purchase tickets online. Laguna Beach, CA The weather is always nice in Southern Cali but if it is still too cold for you (65 degrees or so) but still want to be by the water, then go to Laguna Beach. If you opt out of a day in the water....enjoy a picnic at Crescent Bay Point Park, shop at local boutiques & art galleries, hike up to Top of the World or Thousand Steps Beach...don't worry it's actually only 220 steps! I found this cool checklist on RealSimple.com and thought I would share! Simple ideas that encourage fun, eating and the outdoors! Happy Spring Everyone:)
xoxo, Bri
