 When you love the outdoors, adventure AND get engaged in Yosemite, you get married in Yosemite National Park...right?! Yazmin & Victor did just that - they invited 50 of their closest family and friends to their destination wedding in one of California's best national parks.
Yazmin & Victor met at Garden Grove Boxing - yes they are that rad couple that trains together! They hung out with mutual friends until one day the hangouts were just the two of them. They began dating and took several trips to Yosemite but during one of the last trips, Victor proposed to Yazmin after a hike up to Vernal Falls inside the park. Thinking she was just posing for a picture, Victor got down on one knee and asked THE question! She said yes!  Wedding Weekend began on Friday where many of the guests hung out for pizza, beer and laughs surrounded by cabins and tents. What you don't know is that hours before this, "everything that could go wrong..." well you know the rest! One of those things...I received the news that snow was expected that night (surprise!!) and due to snow road closures we would have a new ceremony site inside the park which changed our timeline. Things happen...but Yazmin & Victor chose the best vendor team and we took care of them on their special day! Fast forward to Saturday morning, no snow...WHAT?! At this point the couple decided to stick to the new plan. We had PERFECT weather that day, just a little chilly. After glamming the bride and her girls, I went to the ceremony site and set up an aisle & alter with a few friends because there wasn't a coordinator - we came to the rescue and called ourselves #InAPinchEvents for the day LOL. Sometimes vendors wear many hats. For example, the photographer for this wedding was putting boutonnieres on the groomsmen - all of these "extra" gestures are so appreciated by couples!  So many elements of their wedding day were DIY projects and they came out so lovely! The seating/welcome sign, the centerpieces and photo station just to name a few.
