THE BREEZY BLOG
My favorite part of the red carpet events are the beauty looks that are showcased! Of course I have picked the most inspiring looks for the Met Ball 2016. I love the art and creativity used to go with the theme: Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. Let's jump right into this! Editorial Looks UNblended #GraphicEyes for the win. Thank you to the makeup artist, Sir John, who created this gem and shame on all the wannabe makeup artists who don't see the art behind the look! (Only mentioning this because of all the hateful comments and memes I have seen on social media) Love the gold brows that Quinn Murphy created for Lily Aldridge. Theme, check! Fresh Face/Neutral LooksI love the Kendall Jenner never feels the need to "pack it on" 24/7. She is comfortable with minimal makeup and Hrush Achemyan made that happen for her. I love this fresh spring makeup look with just a tad bit of silver that Amber D. created for Lorde. Obsessed with Patrick Ta! He created this simple look with a tiny, brown winged liner for Gigi! Silver LooksThis look was one of my favorites! It was appropriate for this event as well as the theme! Edgy look created by the talented Jillian Dempsey! I want to wear this makeup every single day! Obsessed with the clean makeup with a pop of silver that Kathy Jeung created for Rita Ora! Vampy LooksDramatic makeup look brought to you by Charlotte Tilbury and her Team. Not loving Taylor's new look (hair) but the clean face, bare eyes (except mascara) and deep red lips are always an A+ in my opinion! You can't go wrong! This look created by Lorrie Turk. Pop of ColorSo, other than the silver on the dress...this look screamed Coachella more than anything. With that being said I still loved the pop of purple smoked out created by Amy Oresman. This look complimented her hair/outfit well. Hope you enjoyed my Met Ball 2016 Beauty Picks!
