Instagram LIVE Recap: Q&A 1/22/18

So this week I went LIVE on my Instagram page for a Q&A about all things Beauty, Travel & Lifestyle. I asked followers to send in their questions via Comments, Direct Messages or even asking LIVE. Unfortunately, I did not save the video so I won't be able to link it this time, instead just continue reading for everything we went over :)

Q & A - 1/22/18

1. Are you Married? Nope! I am single! Many brides think I'm married because I wear a beautiful ring on my right hand (when doing makeup I think they think it is my left hand) that my dad gifted to me on my 21st birthday. I enjoy being single but for now I will live vicariously through my brides LOL
2. What's your Starbucks Order? Venti Iced Coffee with light half & half & 3 pumps of Chestnut Praline, no classic.
3. What are some cheap weekend getaways? Anything outdoors...hikes, etc. I have an America The Beautiful Pass so I visit Joshua Tree National Park frequently. I also love going to Ojai and visiting Meditation Mount. Another great option is Crestline, it still gets cold with some snow, without the high cabin prices of Big Bear.
4. What is your go-to lip combo for everyday? My favorite "nude" lipstick combo for daily wear is Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil "Liar" paired with Urban Decay Vice Lipstick "Liar" - so good!
5. What is a good concealer for dark circles for people hitting their 30s? My first question to that is, are you having issues with dark circles and wrinkles and/or dryness because that will make a difference. I would lightly color correct with salmon or orange then top off with MAC Pro Longwear concealer (you can sheer it out too if you want to go light-handed). Lightly set the area with sheer powder and DO NOT BAKE,  it will just accentuate your wrinkles or dryness.
6. What is your night routine including skincare? Every night I have to clear out my emails and look at my planner. I make sure I review my daily goals and prepare for my goals the following day. Then I wash my face with SkinCeuticals LHA Cleansing Gel, Moisturize with Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream, Neutrogena Hydra Boost Gel-Cream for Extra Dry Skin and Mario Badescu Buttermilk Moisturizer.
7. Favorite MAC Lipsticks & lip liners? Lipsticks: Velvet Teddy, Ruby Woo & Kinda Sexy. Lip liners: Spice & Cherry.
8. What are your must-have beauty products? Sonia Roselli Water Balm Skin Prep, MAC Fix+ and the BeautyBlender!
9. What is your go-to bridal look? Most brides ask for a light lid and darker color in the crease so I use a variety of different Make Up For Ever eyeshadows (don't know the numbers) but always reach for MAC Embark, Swiss Chocolate & All That Glitters. For lips, I gravitate to Sephora Cream Lip Stains as well as Dose of Colors liquid lipsticks.
   
10. If you had one day to plan your wedding, what would it look like, where? Absolutely the mountains would be the backdrop, simple, with close family & friends.
