THE BREEZY BLOG
As a freelance Makeup Artist, I am always trying to condense my kit. Not just for room, but for the weight as well. Minimum I am hauling a Zuca bag, a MAC Travel Case and a Tuscany Chair for any makeup job. During a recent trip to Naimie's, I decided to buy a few more Z Palette "Dome Palettes" to finally start on this project. Keep reading to find out how easy this is to do! Here is what you'll need: -MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powders or MAC Mineralize Blush Compacts -Z Palette 'Black Dome' (I purchased mine from Naimie's) -Metal De-potting Spatula (I used one from Crown Brushes) Step One. First, you want to place the spatula in the crevice shown above. The top piece will come off easily, place that aside and do not throw away yet. Step Two. Then you will gently lift the powder from the compact using your spatula. It is glued down so be very careful to slowly loosen it and it will pop right off. Now place the top piece back into the compact so that you can use for Back to MAC as shown here. Step Three. The Z Palette comes with magnetic pieces in different sizes. Just stick a large one on the back of the powder. Then take off the sticker from compact and place over magnet. Gently place all powders in your Z Palette and voilà , it was so easy! Final Results:
