Day Trippin' // San Diego, CA

San Diego is one of my favorite places to visit in So Cal. There are so many neighborhoods with charm, art, nightlife, etc. This particular day was spent in Barrio Logan and North Park with my best friend! She is relocating back to the OC so I headed down to spend the day with her exploring. Come along on the ride with me...

I love stopping by here to stretch out my legs and enjoy the view. The minute I got to my friend's house, we were off to our first destination...Barrio Logan!

Por Vida in Barrio Logan

Por Vida is a coffee shop and art gallery located in San Diego in Barrio Logan's Art District. The menu offers tasty drinks with a Mexican flare. Everything from Horchata Lattes to Spicy Sandia Limonada (Watermelon Lemonade). Note: Mexican flare down to the color of the bar stools!

I had an an Horchata Cold Brew (delish) and my friend had an Iced Cafe Con Canela y Brown Sugar and she loved it! How cute are the labels they put not their cups?! #LaVirgen

Pigment in North Park

After we enjoyed coffee in culture-filled Barrio Logan, we headed over to North Park for some DIY Terrarium fun! I was way too excited for this...I can't wait to go again. 

In Plant Lab, you get to choose your pot/terrarium, succulents, sand, moss, rocks, etc. and make your own masterpiece. Check out the slideshow below for all the cuteness at Pigment! 

Pigment not only has a Plant Lab but it is also a gift shop with mugs, candles, kids books...the list goes on and on. Basically, if I lived in San Diego then everyone's gifts from me would be from this place LOL It got my creative cells goin'!

Carnitas Snack Shack in North Park

Carnitas Torta (carnitas, guacamole, lettuce & tomato) for the win! Seasoned fried with Bacon Ketchup (not impressed, regular ketchup please hehe).

After dinner I headed back to the OC just thinking about the great day I had in San Diego!
