THE BREEZY BLOG
If you have oily or combination skin then this post is for you. Of course, results may vary depending on sensitivities but it is always a great idea to try new things and find out what works for you. For your morning routine, it is important to know that you must Cleanse, Prevent, Correct, Moisturize & Protect BEFORE applying makeup or heading out the door. Continue reading to find out what I use personally for my skin at the current moment. Enjoy!

The Nip + Fab Gycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads ($12.99) re-texture and resurface skin while the witch hazel helps to tone. The result: brighter and smoother looking skin to prevent dullness & texture. It comes with 60 pads as do most of these types of products. How to use: Wipe pad across face, and neck. Apply to cleansed skin once or twice daily.

SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense treatment ($90.00) has become one of my favorite skincare products of all time! It reduces excess sebum (oil) production, improves uneven skin tone, de-congests clogged pores and is perfect for acne-prone, oily, combination and aging skin types. How to use: Once or twice daily, apply four to five drops to clean, dry skin.

The Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Bouncy Hydrating Gel is oil-free and super lightweight too! Cucumber extract helps to hydrate, detox, soothe and calm skin. Hyaluronic acid hydrates skin by attracting up to 1,000 times its weight in water from moisture in the air. How to use: Apply to face and neck, twice daily.
I reach for these two all of the time but for specific reasons. If I am going makeup-free that day then I'll grab The Body Shop Maca Root Eye Rescue Serum. Yes I know it's marketed for men but that's because Maca Root is used by men in Peru...something that The Body Shop learned and it inspired their entire Maca Root line! It is hydrating and light enough for me to use daily. How to use: Dab around the eye area every morning and evening.
When I plan on wearing makeup, I like my under eyes to be extremely hydrated to prevent the look of cracked skin (can ruin an entire makeup look in my opinion). The CeraVe Eye Repair Cream is perfect for mornings because it reduces dark circles and puffiness while leaving you with brighter and smoother under-eyes. How to use: Apply in small dots around the eye areas.

Sunscreen is so important!! Sun damage is a real thing and if you're in your 20s you need to start using this now. Don't depend on the SPF15 in your foundation, you need a little more especially in sunny Cali. I use the SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense with SPF50 ($34.00). It is chemical-free and paraben free. How to use: Shake well before use. Apply liberally to face, neck and chest after moisturizer. Use before applying makeup.
Don't forget your lips! Relieve dryness and prevent sun damage with Aquaphor Lip Repair + Protect with SPF30. How to use: Apply all over lips before makeup.
Also, I love to keep Sun Bum Lip Balm 'Coconut' with SPF30 for easy, on the go application!
Be sure to pin this for later :)
