 Summer is almost here! For us Orange County & SoCal people, it's practically all-year round! However, summer is an excuse to bronze that face like JLo and rock a bright orange-red lip any day of the week! A few summer lip color staples should include (based on your skin tone) an orange, coral, soft pink, bright pink, neon & nude! With the heat of summer, I like to wear less on my skin but still want to look like I am put together, so a fun lip is the perfect way to do that. Check out the colors I have on deck:
Flower Child is highly pigmented and super matte. It's an electric coral but soft enough for the office. Lady Danger is hands down the BEST orange-red lipstick!! It's matte and vibrant, perfect for those summer nights out on the town or outdoor pool parties!
You know I had to throw in something WATERPROOF, a must-have! Make Up For Ever has a great range of waterproof products that includes their Aqua Lip Liners and Aqua Liquid Lipsticks. I love this one because you can keep it matte or add shine on the other end of the tube. Sephora's makeup best seller is their Cream Lip Stain...it is ONLY $14 but the quality surpasses that amount in my opinion. Strawberry Kissed and Watermelon Slice are the perfect bold lip for the summer. Everyone should have a nude lipstick but if you don't, pick up this moisturizing & creamy Beige Nude shade "Honeycomb" with a ton of edible oils and vitamins as part of the ingredients, sold! "Dolce" on the other hand is a great nude shade with a touch of coral.
