2018 Summer Bucket List

As the summer approaches I started thinking of some things I've been wanting to do that are not necessarily "Ultimate" Bucket List worthy.  I'm excited to enjoy the Cali weather, hang with my favorite people and create memories! Here is my 2018 Summer Bucket List!

GET A  JAPANESE HEAD SPA TREATMENT

You may have seen this awesome treatment, as it went viral on Insider Travel not too long ago. With the weather changing, our skin reacts differently including our scalp so I definitely want to try this out!

READ BOOKS & MEET WITH MY BOOK CLUB

A few months ago, a few friends and I started a book club. It's more of a book exchange then we will meet up and talk about each book opposed to us all reading the same book at the same time. So far, we are reading Distance Between Us & Tuesdays with Morrie - I want to continue the tradition and hopefully expand our #ConchasBookClub

VISIT A NEW NATIONAL PARK...AND GO HIKING! (COMPLETED)

If you follow me on Instagram then you know I'm a self-proclaimed adventurer - just see #BreezyOnTheGo! One of my Bucket List items is to visit every single National Park in the U.S. so for my Summer List I want to at least go to one new one! Once I'm there then I'll do some hiking :)

BINGE WATCH SEASON TWO OF QUEEN OF THE SOUTH  ON NETFLIX & WATCH SEASON THREE ON TV

Last year I got hooked on Queen of the South and for the first time ever I binge watched the first season in two evenings. Well, Season Three is coming out in June so time for me to watch season two to get prepared for the show!

VISIT A NEW MUSEUM OR BOTANICAL GARDEN (COMPLETED)

Living in SoCal has perks, so many things to do and places I've never even visited before. I want to make sure I go to a few places on my list. Hopefully I can visit South Coast Botanic Garden or MOOLA.

MAKE FRESH LEMONADE

One of my favorite childhood memories was my grandma making fresh-squeezed lemonade and orange juice...this summer I want to do the same but with a twist! A few years ago I discovered this place called Por Vida in San Diego with amazing coffee and specialty drinks (Yes I have driven all the way over there just for a drink haha). They have Spicy Limonadas so I'm going to try it "DIY style" and share with friends!

GO CAMPING

I used to go camping all the time with our family...sometimes there would be a few of us and sometimes we basically took up an entire campground lot hahaha It's one of those things I just stopped doing but I sure do miss it, so this is one of my goals!

VOLUNTEER FOR A GREAT CAUSE

I would love to volunteer my time for a great cause but I've heard that some food pantries look slim this time of the year opposed to during thanksgiving, etc. so I would love to host a food drive with friends and family to benefit Families Forward.

I actually do this often but it's usually a day-trip. The plan is do do this 100% impromptu. We'll see how this goes! Side note: I love traveling solo! Open road, business brainstorming, singing at the top of my lungs and making as many last minute pit-stops without guilt :)

Often we get stuck in the same routines, so my goal is to change my routine based off of the season. Excited to try new products or treatments, let me know if you have any recommendations.

WATCH A DRIVE-IN MOVIE

I haven't been in many years and with the great Cali weather, I think summer nights would be the best time to go. Anyone want to join me?

WAKE UP WITH THE SUN...SEE THE SUNRISE

This is probably one of my favorite things to do when I'm on vacation but I want to make it an effort to do this at home. "Each sunrise brings a new day with new hopes for a new beginning."
